These terms are an agreement between you and Herizon Oy, business ID 3418543-7, PL 30, 02211 Espoo, Finland, for your use of Associatify at associatify.org. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
The service
Associatify is an operations platform for associations, foundations and similar organizations. Herizon offers it as a hosted service. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops.
Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for the data you put into your workspace. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to hold an account.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, upload content you have no right to, attempt to access data that is not yours, disrupt the service or other customers, or send spam through the platform. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.
Artificial intelligence
Some features use artificial intelligence. AI is an optional aid, not a function applied to everything, and you choose when to use it. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so you must review it before relying on it, and it must not be the sole basis for a decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on a person. You are responsible for how you use AI output.
Plans and billing
A free plan is offered as is, with no time limit. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe; you may cancel at any time and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and prices exclude VAT unless stated.
Your data and privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data about your account. For the members, contacts and applicants you manage in your workspace, you are the controller and Herizon acts as your processor under applicable data protection law.
Intellectual property
The software and the hosted service are proprietary to Herizon. You keep all rights to the data and content you put into the service. Herizon keeps all rights to the software and to the Associatify name and marks.
Availability, warranties and liability
We work to keep the service available but provide it as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Herizon is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data or profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the service and these terms at any time and at our discretion. When we change these terms we will update the date above and give notice of material changes through the service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service.
Term and termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or where the law requires. Provisions that by their nature should survive, such as data protection, intellectual property and liability, continue after termination.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus), unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
